CHAPPAQUA – If you’ve ever uttered, or even thought the words, “what fresh hell is this,” when faced with a quandary, chances are you are a parent.

Maybe the kids left the back door open and now the dog is gone, or they’ve trashed the kitchen in an attempt to make their own lunch.

Two very funny parents have your back.

Margaret Ables and Amy Wilson, co-hosts of the popular parenting podcast “What Fresh Hell: Laughing in the Face of Motherhood” are returning to Chappaqua. The duo will bring an all-new night of hilarious comedy to the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Dec. 1.

Apparently Ables mother picked up the “fresh hell” mantra while raising Margaret and her five siblings. Been there!

Tickets are $20 and up and are available at the door or online at chappaquapac.org.

Ables and Wilson riff on their usually-completely-opposite parenting approaches to tackle a host of mom issues from picky eaters to slumber parties. “We may not have all the answers, but you’ll definitely laugh along,” says Ables. “Also, there will be wine.”

“What Fresh Hell” is one of the top parenting podcasts on Apple Podcasts, with a million downloads and counting.

Ables is a comedian and writer whose work has been featured on Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, and NickMom.com. Wilson is an actor and comedian who has appeared on Broadway and in dozens of sitcoms and films. She’s also the author of  the play “Mother Load,” a one-woman show which toured nationwide after its hit off-Broadway run.
