NJ Greyhound Adoption Program hosts meet and greet at PetValu

New Jersey Greyhound Adoption Program (NJGAP) will host a greyhound Meet & Greet on Saturday, Dec. 9 at PetValu in the Flemington Circle Shopping Center, 276 Rts 202/31, Flemington from 1 p.m. to  4 p.m.  NJGAP volunteers and their dogs will be there to discuss greyhound adoption.  An adoptable red fawn male greyhound named “Lee” will be there for the public to meet.  Lee is one of 3 dogs that arrived from Daytona, FL on Dec. 2.

NJGAP is based in Hunterdon County has rescued over 2,500 greyhounds since 1993.  Please check NJGAP out on Facebook for photos and bios of available dogs for adoption atwww.facebook.com/NJGAP. Prospective adopters should email NJGAP at njgap@hotmail.com to request a .pdf pre-adoption application.

NJGAP also has a fun, interactive, public presentation of “The Greyhound Story” available for groups and organizations (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, churches, libraries, seniors, etc.) who would like to learn more about greyhound rescue and adoption.
