I am a male, white and blue Pit Bull Terrier. My age is unknown. I have been at the shelter since July 12, 2017.

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800. For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed July 28 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

“Pit bull,” white and blue male, unlicensed; bit a kennel worker; stray picked up July 12 by a control officer at 1760 Macomber St., Toledo.

Dachshund mix, tan and white female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (15 years old, mammary tumors, age-related issues); surrendered July 28 by Tanya Burkey, Starr Avenue, Oregon.

Rottweiler, black and orange female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (8 years old, multiple tumors); surrendered July 28 by Kimberly Cortez, Maher Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, black and white male; stray taken to shelter July 2 by Teresa McCormick, Bannockburn Drive, Toledo, from Bannockburn Drive and Secor Road, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” gray and white female; stray taken to shelter July 5 by Stephanie Weeks, South McCord Road, Springfield Township, from Ash Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” orange and white male; stray picked up July 21 by a control officer at 1208 Warwick Ave., Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, gray and white female; surrendered July 17 by Jacqueline Gaston, Walden Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, brindle and white female; stray picked up June 30 by a control officer at 578 Thurston St., Toledo.
