Dogs rescued from Hurricane Harvey may soon be up for adoption

Lansing, Mich. (WILX)- Two dogs rescued from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey are now looking for their forever homes in Mid-Michigan.

Sneaker and Harvey were flown from Houston to Detroit Monday morning.

The Capital Area Humane Society says the dogs will be held for behavior and medical testing, but should be available for adoption soon.

Right now, CAHS says it’s not accepting any applications for the dogs. Once they are cleared for adoption, they will appear on CAHS’ website.
