Meet Curly at Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

NORTHERN MICHIGAN (WPBN/WGTU) — Looking for a new best friend? Well, the animals below are looking for you too! Every Friday we will feature some very special dogs and cats that might steal your heart!

Meet Curly!

Just look at those eyes! Curly is a beautiful middle-aged domestic short-hair/mix female. She has a distinctive color called ‘russian blue’

Curly has been a resident at Cherryland Humane Society for a month and is ready to go to her forever home!

For more information about Curly or to see if she would be a fit for your family reach out to Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City. The phone number is: 231-946-5116

Say hello to Iva!

Iva is a lab/shepherd mix who is spayed and house trained. Iva is a little afraid of children and is shy around men, so she’s hoping to have someone take the time with her and give her love, patience and reassurance she deserves.

If you would like to meet Iva to see if she is a fit for your family, call Great Lakes Humane Society in Leelanau County at 231-846-8293.

Meet Paige!

Paige is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle and have her belly rubbed. Paige has not lived with other cats or dogs but should adjust if introduced slowly. Paige will be shy at first and will hide from strangers. Paige likes attention in a quiet environment. Paige would do best if adopted into a quiet adult home where she can be a princess!

If you’d like to meet this lovely lady, she is currently in the Traverse City PetSmart cattery located at 2544 Crossing Circle.

If you would like, you could also fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire and an AC Paw volunteer will contact you.
